Our Process
Prototype
Before moving into a production run on any new product, we build a prototype or first article for customer review and approval. At this time, we also have the chance to evaluate our processes, organize our resources, establish quality measures and make any adjustments or modifications to the design if necessary.
Product Development
Once in product development we work to ensure that the end product supports all requirements and meets all codes required for the customer's needs. At this time, we will also make any necessary changes and prepare to move into production.
Concept Design
When a new product idea or concept begins, we meet with the customer to outline the scope of work, desired function of the product and gain an understanding of any parameters, guidelines, limitations, restrictions, costs and timelines in order to best achieve success and ultimate customer satisfaction.
From the start, we provide our engineering and production group with input from the client to create working drawings and a model of the desired product. This initial outline includes the scope of functionality, reliability and cost effectiveness to manufacture. We then review this information with the customer and make any modifications necessary to come to an agreed upon design and cost to manufacture. If the customer supplies drawings and design we then provide a quotation if desired and upon approval, move on to the prototype or first article build.
Customer Relationship
This is the ongoing process of working with the customer from concept and design, all the way through prototyping (if desired) and fluidly moving into the product development and production stages. Throughout the life span of a project, we work to keep the life cycle of the product and growth of the customer relationship moving forward. We keep continuous open communication with the customer throughout every step to make sure we are meeting the outlined goals and objectives as well as maintaining quality in order to best achieve project/product success and customer satisfaction.
Production
By the time a project reaches production, we have outlined, confirmed and reached an agreement with the customer in respect to timing, costs and expectations. Internally, we have a plan and schedule in place to reach the desired goals and objectives. During this process, we continuously measure our performance and make sure we are maintaining quality standards.
