Class A CDL Truck Driver

Class A CDL Truck Driver Job Duties:

  • Haul rock, sand, and gravel using a side dump and a tanker with liquid manure
  • Experience hauling lowboy trailers, wide loads or heavy loads is strongly preferred
  • Safely operate an 18-speed or automatic semi-truck
  • Complete the DOT pre-trip inspections daily and report maintenance needs promptly
  • Hook and unhook trailer and safely secure loads
  • Set up the truck for emergency situations when necessary
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, load documentation, logbook and compliance paperwork
  • Perform general maintenance on semis and trailers
  • Manage time efficiently
  • Deliver agriculture and construction equipment to the field
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with dispatch, applicators, customers and co-workers
  • Use a smartphone and computer
  • Physically climb a ladder 15 feet high
  • Maintain a clean and organized Semi-Truck
 

The ideal applicant would be self-motivated, reliable and detail-orientated. The Truck Driver Must have their Class A CDL license, with a tanker endorsement and an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR. The Truck Driver will be subject to pre-employment and random drug testing, as well as a pre-employment physical.

Truck Driver Schedule: Hours may vary based on customer needs

  • Monday – Saturday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Class B CDL Truck Driver

Class B CDL Truck Driver Job Duties:

  • Ability to safely operate a tandem dump truck
  • The Class B Haz Mat Truck Driver will primarily haul fuel
  • Safely operate an 18-speed or automatic semi-truck
  • Complete the DOT pre-trip inspections daily and report maintenance needs promptly
  • Hook and unhook trailer and safely secure loads
  • Set up the truck for emergency situations when necessary
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, load documentation, logbook and compliance paperwork
  • Perform general maintenance on semis and trailers
  • Manage time efficiently

The Truck Driver will be subject to pre-employment and random drug testing, as well as a pre-employment physical. C & H Solutions will financially assist the Class B truck driver with obtaining their Class A CDL if desired.

Agitator/Farm Equipment Operator

Agitator/Farm Equipment Operator job duties:

  • Assist with solids control at contracted Dairy Facilities
  • Operate an agitator machine to extract liquid manure from lagoons
  • Safely and efficiently operate a tractor
  • Ability to set up a pump and hose for load out
  • Assist with loading semi-trucks
  • Effectively communicate and work within a team environment
  • Check fluids, grease, inspect equipment and report maintenance issues to Supervisor and Maintenance Department
  • Assist with spreading liquid manure
  • Wear all required PPE while on the job
  • Maintain machinery and equipment in a clean, organized, and operational condition

 

The ideal applicant would be reliable, detail-orientated and a team player. The Agitator/Farm Equipment Operator must have a valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR. The Agitator/Farm Equipment Operator will be subject to pre-employment and random drug testing, as well as a pre-employment physical.

Agitator/Farm Equipment Operator Schedule:
Monday – Saturday 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Custom Applicator

Custom Applicator job duties:

  • Spread liquid manure on customer fields using a spreader or drag lines
  • Safely operate a tractor with liquid tankers/implements attached
  • Ability to set up a pump and hose for load in/out
  • Operate and utilize GPS on the tractor systems for efficient field operations
  • Assist with solids control at contracted Dairy Facilities
  • Operate agitation equipment as needed to blend materials
  • Effectively communicate and work within a team environment
  • Check fluids, grease, inspect equipment and report maintenance issues to Supervisor and Maintenance Department
    Wear all required PPE while on the job
  • Maintain machinery and equipment in a clean, organized, and operational condition

 

The ideal applicant would be reliable, detail-orientated and a team player. The Custom Applicator must have a valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR. The Custom Applicator will be subject to pre-employment and random drug testing, as well as a pre-employment physical.
